Local Tax Revenue
Project Flex is expected to generate substantial tax revenue over the coming years. The project will provide meaningful tax contributions to local and regional jurisdictions throughout its operating life.
Construction Jobs
Project Flex is expected to generate approximately 1,500 to 2,000 local construction jobs over the course of development. These construction jobs will be spread across multiple years and trades, bringing a consistent workforce into the area.
The economic impact of these jobs extends beyond the site itself. Construction workers and permanent employees will be living, commuting, and spending time in the community, supporting local restaurants, gas stations, stores and other small businesses throughout the construction and operational phases.
Permanent Jobs
When the campus is fully developed, the project is expected to support up to approximately 210 full-time jobs across six buildings, with continuous operations and long-term employment opportunities. These positions will include a range of technical, operational, and support roles. Verrus™ plans to partner with local employment agencies, universities, and trade organizations to prioritize local and regional hiring where possible.
We recognize that for community members close to the site, the question isn’t just how many jobs are created, but what this means day to day for the community during construction and once the facility is operating.
Ancillary Economic Benefits
For those who live, work and spend time near the Project Flex site, the economic impact of that workforce shows up in very practical ways. The 1,500-2,000 local construction workers and employees will be buying meals locally, purchasing supplies, fueling vehicles and using local services.
This will provide significant stimulation to local businesses like restaurants, gas stations, hardware stores and small service providers that are often owned and operated by township residents.
Infrastructure Improvements
Project Flex will support broader infrastructure improvements in the area, including drainage and roadway enhancements that improve traffic flow and overall infrastructure performance.
